Block Therapy for Athletes - Joint Issues

Any adhesions caused by migration of the fascia cause blocks to blood and oxygen flow. These restrictions are only exacerbated if we continue to exercise and strengthen on top of a poor foundation. This is where runners get pain syndromes, bodybuilders lose joint mobility, and athletes become prone to injury. Joint issues are the same problem.

The farther away we are from the core, the colder the tissue is and the more adhesions are in the way between it and our breath. Tissue that is blocked from life is not able to heal from the increased stresses placed on it, so it slowly breaks down over time. Joint issues are incredibly common, and they are a result of these blockages.

Restoring blood and oxygen flow is essential for allowing joints to rebuild themselves. We also need to be observing proper posture, to maintain this space and avoid further adhesions taking place. Block Therapy does both!
